Dr. Joshua (Josh) Tintner

Dr. Joshua Tintner is one of the founding members of the office. Dr. Tintner has been a part of the clinic since 1982. He graduated from the University of Toronto in 1966 and needless to say, has vast experience in every aspect of dentistry. Aside from providing comprehensive dental treatment for his patients, he has developed a unique dentist-patient relation with them over the years. One based on trust and the simple philosophy that he has their best interest at heart.

Dr. Priya Kirpalaney

Dr. Kirpalaney joined our clinic in 2013 with over 8 years as a full-fledged practitioner of family and cosmetic dentistry, surgery and implants. She is a graduate from the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Dentistry and has completed her dental residency at Sunnybrook hospital, with emphasis on facial and dental trauma, oral surgery and pathology. She has a wide array of clinical experience ranging from the treatment of medically compromised patients at Sunnybrook to providing dental treatmen

Our Hygeinists

Mary Bennett

Mary has been with us since 1995 after graduating as a Dental Hygienist in 1989 from Buffalo, NY. With over 25 years of experience and extensive knowledge in soft tissue management, she is a tremendous asset to our team. Mary always strives to help our patients feel at ease…her caring and gentle nature allows for our patients to have a relaxed visit. With her long tenure, her patients are now more like family and always look forward to coming in to see her.

Miriam Eilat

Miriam has recently joined our team and brings her amazingly warm and friendly attitude to our practice. Originally from Israel, she graduated from The Toronto College of Dental Hygiene and Auxiliaries and has trained skills that reflect current practice and promote ongoing education and research. She demonstrates hard work and perseverance in always making sure her patients leave happy and healthy. Miriam is fluent in English and Hebrew.

Joan McCrae

Joan has been with our practice since the doors opened over 50 years ago, and has vast experience having worked with two or more generations of our patients. Joan has worked in both dental assisting and office management before settling into the front desk role. She does everything in her control to ensure our patients receive nothing but the most rewarding and relaxing experience while here at Davisville Smiles. With her many years of experience, she is very knowledgeable in our procedures and

Rofel Barrido

Rofel is one of our most experienced dental assistants and works along with Dr. Kirpalaney. Rofel graduated from Trillium College here in Toronto in 2012. She’s been here with us since December of 2014 and has never been caught without a smile on her face. Rofel is very friendly and happy to help in making your visit here a pleasant one. With her upbeat personality you’ll really enjoy having her by your side. Rofel is fluent in English and Tagalog.
